VitiNord will be held in Burlington, Vermont, USA – December 4 – 7, 2022
Dear Cold-climate Colleagues and Enthusiasts,
VitiNord 2022, the world’s only international cold-climate wine conference, is officially open for early bird registration, and will be for only a few weeks until normal registration supersedes.
VitiNord 2022 will be hosted in Burlington, Vermont from December 4th through the 7th. Burlington is a unique University town within a thriving food, wine and spirits culture, a playground for all things outdoors, nestled on beautiful Lake Champlain with an Adirondack mountains backdrop. Downtown Burlington is a thriving hub of shops, restaurants, music venues and tasting rooms. Not only are we actively planning a memorable on-site experience at the Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain hotel, but anticipate off-site opportunities to gather, as well.
This year, VitiNord brings together dynamic individuals from many disciplines, such as Greg Jones, CEO, Abacela Vineyards and Winery, a world-renowned atmospheric scientist and wine climatologist. He will discuss climate change and the future of Viticulture in the Northeast.
Among other presenters, we will also have Elaine Chukan Brown, aka Hawk Wakawaka Wine Reviews, who will consider, “What does it take to create a unique identity of a wine region?”. Elaine is a writer, speaker, and educator specializing in wine, personal empowerment, and social justice. She is the newly minted Executive Editor US of JancisRobinson.com. We encourage you to check out Elaine’s bio in the “About” section of wakawakawinereviews.com. She is an astute observer of international wine culture and is uniquely articulate regarding the changes taking place within it.
We are looking forward to an informative and fruitful conference that you really don’t want to miss. We encourage you to visit VitiNord.org to take advantage of this opportunity to reserve your space at the conference. Feel free to share this message with your friends and colleagues who may not be a part of this subscription list which has been an important resource for those of us active in the northern latitudes, and more specifically for those in the grape-growing industry within these zones.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have at email@example.com and we look forward to seeing you in December.
